ESOL Program: The C.A.S.E.S. - (Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment System) is the evaluation instrument used in dult english as a second other language (ESOL) programs for use with non-native english speaking adults (and youth).
The Adult High School Education Program requires the T.A.B.E. (TEST OF ADULT BASIC EDUCATION) to enter the high school program and The ADULT BASIC EDUCATION Both CASAS and TABE and used for vocational placement depending on the ability to understand the English language, the educational background of the vocational student developed in the U.S.A. or the native country.
The TABE is used as the entrance instrument for ADULT BASIC EDUCATION and G.E.D. The G.E.D. Practice Test is an instrument appropriately used when a candidate for the G.E.D. is close to attain his/her goal. The G.E.D Practice Test is the screening test for students under 18 years of age who desire to attain a G.E.D. instead of a high school diploma.
The FCAT is the FLORIDA COMPREHENSIVE ASSESMENT TEST for Adult High School students following the same parameters that the regular high school day students follow. |
